Garden Club

The "Paw Patch" of SDES

The garden of SDES, also called the "Paw Patch" is a wonderful place where our Bear Cubs can learn outside!  The garden is a place where students can learn how to grow fruits and vegetables for food as well as a place where we will provide plants for pollinators.  Our students will learn the important role that pollinators play in providing food for humanity and how important it is to take care of them. The garden program exists to teach empathy for the environment and how to care for our earth!

The students of SDES will have multiple opportunities to engage with "The Paw Patch" but one of those opportunities will be through the GARDEN CLUB!
The Garden Club will take place once per month on a Friday after school until 3:30 p.m.
(1st Fridays- K-2nd grades      3rd Fridays- 3-5th grades)
***Schedule is subject to change due to school holidays***

The cost to be in "Garden Club" is $25 per student which includes a t-shirt.
