My name is
Angie Hightower

I was born and raised in Carrollton, GA.   I am a graduate of Carrollton High School.   I have a BS and Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia.  I am married with 3 girls, a son-in-law, a Grandbaby BOY on the way and a Puggle named Toby.  My girls ages are 25, 20 and 14.   My youngest daughter attends Central High School and is an aspiring artist.  My oldest is married and works in Jacksonville, FL.   My son-in-law is currently serving in the U.S. Navy.  My middle daughter is a veterinary assistant and LOVES animals. 
One of my greatest achievements was loosing 112lbs. 5 years ago after learning that I have food allergies.

This will be my 29th year at South Douglas Elementary.  South Douglas Elementary is the only school that I have ever taught at.  I love teaching Kindergarten.  I have also taught Pre-K and 2nd grade.  

In my spare time, I like watching TV, going to the gym, working on the computer, and keeping up with the girls;-).
