Hello My Name Is...
Tina Harris
I am a product of the Douglas County School System. I was born and raised in Douglas County and graduated from Alexander High School in 1990. I am a proud graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I have earned a Master’s degree in Leadership and Administration from the University of West Georgia, and a Specialist degree in Educational Administration from Berry College. I have taught in Douglas County for 16 years. Of those years, I have had the opportunity to teach several different grade levels in elementary, and I am currently beginning my 7th year teaching ESOL. I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach the amazing ESOL students at South Douglas Elementary and Fairplay Middle School the last three years.
I have a wonderful husband and three fabulous children ages, 23, 19 and 11. We also have two cute little toy poodles and a sweet cat. My children have been very involved in sports over the years, so they keep me busy! To me, there is nothing better than spending time with family!
