Erika Prewett

Hello! I am Mrs. Prewett.

This is my 21st year as an educator. The last 17 of those years have been spent in the Douglas County School System. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade. I am a proud graduate of Berry College with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. I received my master’s degree in early childhood education from Kennesaw State University. I completed my specialist degree in curriculum and instruction at Liberty University and then went on to complete my educational doctorate degree in curriculum and instruction as well. In 2012 I received a teacher leadership endorsement and completed the National Stem Certification in 2023. I am married to Tim and we are incredibly blessed to have two boys, Walker (9) and Sawyer (6). I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my family. I am so excited to be teaching third grade writing at South Douglas Elementary School this year!
