Hello, Bear Cub Family!

My name is Kelly Hadley, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal here at South Douglas Elementary School! With ten years of teaching and administrative experience, I have dedicated my career to fostering a positive and enriching learning environment.

I began my journey at Heard County School System, where I taught 1st grade for four years, followed by 2nd grade for two years, and Technology for grades Kindergarten through 5th for three years. I am proud to be a graduate of Heard County High School and have earned my Bachelor of Science in Education in 2014, my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2021, and my Specialist Degree in Advanced Educational Studies from Augusta University in 2023.

On a personal note, I have been happily married to my husband and best friend, Brian, for 17 years. Together, we are blessed with three wonderful children: Brandon, Bradford, and Kenzlie. We also have a lovely daughter-in-law, Tahlor.

I am truly excited about the opportunity to work alongside you and your child this year. Together, we will create a supportive and engaging educational experience at SDES! Let’s make this a fantastic year!
