Heather Palmer
Hey friends. I am so excited to be back at my home, South Douglas! I taught here for 8 years, with a total of 10 years in Douglas County. I have spent the last 15 years being a stay-at-home mom and running my elderberry business. I have my undergrad through the University of West Georgia and my Master’s through Nova Southeastern University. I am also a certified Master Teacher. I was born and raised in Douglas County and am proud to currently reside in our sweet town of Fairplay on our family farm. I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 19 years and we have 2 boys, Kody and Kohen, that both have attended or are currently attending South Douglas. I have remained very active as room mom and volunteer throughout their years here so this school is truly my family. I couldn’t be any happier to be back home!
